AI every day or hardly ever? How people in the US say they use AI

AI is everywhere right now, but is everyone actually using it? For some people, tools powered by artificial intelligence have already become part of everyday life. Others only use them occasionally, and plenty of people still don’t use them at all. A recent Bohemian Research survey collected through MultiPolls asked people in the United States how often they use AI tools in their everyday lives. The answers show a pretty interesting divide. Almost 3 in 10 respondents use AI every day 28.8% of respondents said they use AI tools daily. Another 16.7% use them weekly , bringing the share of people using AI at least once a week to 45.5% . But regular AI users were only one side of the story. The single most popular answer was actually “rarely,” chosen by 29.6% of respondents . And almost one in four, 24.9%, said they never use AI tools at all . So while AI may feel like an everyday part of life online, the survey suggests that usage is still far from universal. Men were much more likely to be regular AI users One of the biggest gaps in the results appeared between men and women. Among men, 58.0% said they use AI tools at least once a week . Among women, that figure was 41.0% . The difference was even more noticeable when looking specifically at daily use: 42.0% of men said they use AI every day, compared with 23.7% of women. Women were also more than twice as likely to say they never use AI. 29.8% of women selected “never,” compared with 13.7% of men. AI use peaked among people aged 30–44 You might expect the youngest respondents to be the biggest AI users, but that wasn’t quite what the results showed. The highest level of regular AI use appeared among respondents aged 30–44 , where 55.8% said they use AI at least weekly . People aged 18–29 were close behind at 53.7% . After that, usage dropped with age. Among respondents aged 45–59 , 41.6% reported using AI at least once a week. For those aged 60 and older , the figure fell to 30.8% . College graduates stood out too Education was another area where the responses looked quite different. Among respondents with a bachelor’s degree or higher, 66.7% said they use AI tools at least once a week . For respondents without a bachelor’s degree, the share was 41.4% . That makes education one of the clearest dividing lines in the survey when it comes to frequent AI use. The AI usage picture in numbers Here’s how the results break down: 28.8% use AI tools every day. 16.7% use them weekly. Together, 45.5% use AI at least once a week. 29.6% said they use AI rarely — the most common individual answer. 24.9% said they never use AI tools. 58.0% of men use AI at least weekly, compared with 41.0% of women. AI use was highest among respondents aged 30–44, at 55.8%. 66.7% of respondents with a bachelor’s degree or higher reported using AI at least weekly. Where would you fit in? Daily user? Once a week? Only when you really need it? Or not interested in AI at all? That’s exactly why surveys like this are interesting — everyone uses technology differently, and the results only come together when lots of different people share their experiences. We asked people in the US how much they sleep. Here’s what they said

How much sleep do Americans actually get each night? For many people, getting enough sleep can be a challenge and our latest survey shows that shorter nights are pretty common. As part of a survey conducted by Bohemian Research, MultiPolls was one of the respondent apps used to collect answers from people across the United States. In total, 504 respondents answered one simple question: “How many hours do you sleep on average?” Here’s what they told us. More than half reported sleeping less than 7 hours Overall, 52.4% of respondents said they sleep less than seven hours on average . That includes 22.8% who said they sleep less than 5 hours and another 29.6% who selected 6 hours . In fact, 6 hours was the most common answer in the entire survey. Another 19.8% of respondents said they sleep 8 hours , while 16.1% reported getting 7 hours of sleep on average . So for more than half of the people who took part, a typical night meant fewer than seven hours of sleep. Women reported shorter sleep more often than men The results also showed a difference between women and men. Among women, 55.2% reported sleeping less than seven hours , compared with 49.3% of men . The median reported sleep was also slightly different: 6 hours for women and 7 hours for men . When looking at approximate averages, however, the difference was smaller — around 6.6 hours for women and 6.7 hours for men . Who was most likely to sleep less than 7 hours? Age made a noticeable difference too. Respondents aged 45–59 were the most likely to report sleeping less than seven hours . In this group, 63.4% selected either “less than 5 hours” or “6 hours.” Among respondents aged 60 and older , the share was 58.6% . Shorter sleep was less common among younger groups: 45.7% of respondents aged 30–44 reported less than seven hours. 40.0% of respondents aged 18–29 reported the same. Among the age groups included in the survey, younger respondents were therefore less likely to report shorter sleep than those aged 45 and above. Education level showed a difference too The survey also found a difference based on education. Among respondents with a bachelor’s degree or higher , 37.7% reported sleeping less than seven hours . Among respondents without a bachelor’s degree, the share was notably higher at 56.2% . The survey does not tell us why these differences exist, but it shows how reported sleep patterns varied between groups. US sleep survey: the results at a glance Here are the main findings: 52.4% of respondents reported sleeping less than 7 hours on average. 29.6% said they usually sleep 6 hours, making it the most common answer. 22.8% reported sleeping less than 5 hours. 19.8% said they sleep 8 hours on average. 55.2% of women reported less than 7 hours of sleep, compared with 49.3% of men . Among respondents aged 45–59 , 63.4% reported sleeping less than 7 hours. Among respondents with a bachelor’s degree or higher , 37.7% reported less than 7 hours of sleep. What would you answer? Who creates online surveys and why are users’ answers important?

You may have already completed dozens of online surveys and wondered: Who actually creates all these questions? And what happens to the answers afterward? Paid surveys are usually created by companies and research organizations that want to understand what a specific group of people thinks, how they behave, or how they respond to a particular product, service, or social issue. MultiPolls acts as a bridge between these researchers and the people whose opinions they need. Companies and brands A large part of market research is conducted for consumer and B2B companies. For example, a company may want to understand why customers choose one product over another, what price they consider reasonable, what they think about new packaging, or whether they would be interested in a product that has not even launched yet. Surveys allow companies to collect information directly from the people they are creating their products and services for. Research agencies Other surveys are created by professional research agencies. These agencies may work for different clients and manage the entire research process, from designing the questionnaire and finding the right respondents to analyzing the final results. In these cases, platforms such as MultiPolls can help connect researchers with respondents who match the required target audience. Universities and academic research Surveys are not only used for marketing. Universities and other academic institutions use questionnaires in fields such as economics, psychology, sociology, and many others. Respondents’ answers can become part of the data used in scientific studies or to test research hypotheses. Public institutions and public opinion research Surveys can also be used by public institutions and organizations that want to better understand people’s opinions. This type of research may explore attitudes toward social issues, public services, or other topics that can help inform decision-making. Some research is also conducted directly by Bohemian Research MultiPolls is operated by the research agency Bohemian Research. In addition to surveys provided through external research partners, Bohemian Research can use its own research projects and the MultiPolls infrastructure to collect responses from relevant participants. This creates a mix of different research opportunities, ranging from commercial market research and academic studies to other in-house and partner research projects. How is a survey created? First, someone needs to define the question they want to answer. For example: “What matters most to customers when choosing a mobile phone?” The researcher then decides whose opinions they need. They may be looking for all adult consumers, or only people who purchased a new phone within the last six months. Next, the questionnaire is created and data collection begins. MultiPolls helps make the research available to relevant users, while respondents receive a reward for their time and participation. Once data collection is complete, the researcher analyzes the results and uses them to support decision-making. Why do you get paid for your answers? Because high-quality information has value. Researchers are not looking for random answers. They need opinions from real people who belong to a specific target audience, and respondents invest their time and attention in participating. Rewards are therefore a way to compensate users for taking part in research. MultiPolls also states that it does not sell users’ personal data to third parties. User data is used, among other things, to help match users with more relevant surveys and improve the service. Your opinion can have a real impact A single answer may not seem particularly important. But when the responses of hundreds or thousands of relevant people are combined, they create data that can help companies develop better products, help researchers better understand society, and provide universities with valuable information for further research. That is why carefully completed surveys have real value.

Do people feel safe in Mexico? Here’s what respondents told us

Do people feel safe in Mexico? It sounds like a simple question, but the answers show just how differently people can experience everyday life in the same country. As part of a survey conducted by Bohemian Research, MultiPolls was one of the respondent apps used to collect answers from people across Mexico. In total, 500 respondents answered one question: “Do you feel safe in Mexico?” And the results were pretty divided. Less than half said they feel safe in Mexico Overall, 45.8% of respondents answered “yes” when asked whether they feel safe in Mexico. Another 33.4% said “more or less” , while 20.8% answered “no.” That means 54.2% of respondents did not give a clear yes . More than half of everyone who took part in the survey. So while many people said they feel safe, a significant share expressed at least some uncertainty about safety in Mexico. Women were less likely to answer yes The results also showed a noticeable difference between men and women. Among women, 40.7% said they feel safe in Mexico , compared with 54.3% of men . Women were also more likely to say they do not feel safe at all. The answer “no” was selected by 23.9% of women , compared with 15.6% of men . The results suggest that feelings of safety can vary significantly depending on who you ask. What about different age groups? Age made a difference too. Respondents aged 45–54 were the most likely to give an answer other than a clear yes . In this age group, 63.0% answered either “more or less” or “no.” Among respondents aged 18–24 , that share was lower, at 49.6% . In other words, younger respondents in this survey were more likely to give a clear positive answer than those aged 45–54. Mexico safety survey: the results at a glance Here are the main findings: 45.8% of respondents said they feel safe in Mexico. 33.4% answered “more or less.” 20.8% said they do not feel safe. Tips and tricks for survey apps: How to get the most out of paid surveys

Survey apps like MultiPolls are a simple way to make use of your free time and earn money by sharing your opinions. However, this does not mean that every survey will be a good match for you or that there is some secret trick that will automatically help you earn more. There are, however, several things you can do to use paid survey apps more effectively, complete more surveys, and avoid wasting time on opportunities that are not right for you. Read on to learn how to get the most out of paid surveys on MultiPolls. 1. Keep Notifications Turned On Survey availability changes constantly. Researchers often need only a limited number of respondents, and a survey may disappear once the required number of participants has been reached. That is why it makes sense to keep notifications turned on and respond to new opportunities quickly. MultiPolls uses notifications to alert users about relevant survey opportunities, and responding early can increase the chance that the survey is still available. 2. Keep Your Profile Up to Date Not every survey is intended for everyone. Some research studies may be looking for people of a certain age, residents of a specific country, parents, car owners, customers who use a particular type of product, or even people who watched a specific TV program the previous evening. The more accurate the information in your profile is, the better a survey platform can match you with relevant surveys. On MultiPolls, survey availability depends on factors such as your profile, country, demographic information, and the current needs of research partners. 3. Answer Honestly and Consistently Trying to guess what answer a researcher wants to hear is not a good strategy. Research companies need high-quality data, and survey platforms check the consistency of respondents' answers. For example, if you provide one piece of information in one survey and something completely different later, your responses may appear unreliable or inaccurate. The best strategy is simply to answer truthfully. MultiPolls considers providing false or repeatedly inconsistent answers to be a serious violation of its rules. 4. Don't Complete Surveys Too Quickly Paid surveys are not a race. If you simply click through questions as quickly as possible, you are more likely to misread a question, give inconsistent answers, or fail an attention check. Researchers use various quality-control mechanisms because they need reliable data they can actually use. It is better to complete fewer surveys carefully than to rush through a large number of them with random answers. 5. If You Have Limited Time, Try Shorter Surveys A longer survey is not always the best option. If you only have a few minutes to spare, it may be more efficient to try several shorter surveys. MultiPolls recommends using the app regularly and trying shorter surveys, which can help increase the number of surveys you successfully complete. 6. Don't Use a VPN or Proxy VPNs can be useful for many things, but they can cause problems when completing paid surveys. Research studies are often intended for respondents from specific countries or regions. Hiding your real location with a VPN or proxy may therefore be considered a violation of the rules. Using a VPN or proxy while using MultiPolls may result in your payout being rejected. 7. Don't Expect to Complete Every Survey Screen-outs are a normal part of online research. For example, a researcher may need 200 people who purchased a new car within the last month. If you did not buy a car, you are simply not the right respondent for that particular study, no matter how complete your profile is. MultiPolls does its best to match users with relevant surveys, but a 100% qualification rate is not possible. In many cases, MultiPolls users may still receive a small reward even if they do not ultimately qualify for the survey. The Best Strategy? Consistency There is no magic hack for paid survey apps. The best results usually come from a simple combination of keeping your profile up to date, responding to relevant survey opportunities, reading questions carefully, and answering honestly.
